Leadership in Heels (LIH) is a nonprofit, high-impact leadership institute committed to transforming leaders at every level by restoring confidence, strengthening decision-making, and aligning leadership with legacy.

Our mission is to bridge the leadership gap by providing access to transformative leadership development through executive coaching, speaker series, leadership academies, mentorship, scholarships, and strategic community partnerships, ensuring that access, opportunity, and elevation are no longer reserved for the few.

We develop leaders through whole-person transformation, strengthening self-leadership, confidence, financial literacy, resilience, and personal agency, because leadership begins long before a title and extends far beyond a role.

We do not motivate leaders, we equip them to lead themselves with clarity, discipline, and personal authority. Our approach strengthens how leaders think, decide, communicate, and live, so leadership is integrated, not performative.

We guide leaders to:

We do not approach this work as charity. We approach it as leadership stewardship, because when confidence is restored and decision-making is strengthened, lives change and communities rise.

Leadership in Heels is grounded in the belief that leadership potential exists everywhere, even where access, opportunity, and investment have been historically denied.

We stand in service to individuals and communities who have the capacity to lead, but have not always been given the tools, space, or support to rise.

This includes leaders who are:

• Rebuilding their lives after incarceration, where leadership development becomes a pathway to restoration, agency, and new futures

• From underserved and historically overlooked communities, where talent has existed without access

• Women seeking to elevate their leadership, voice, and authority across sectors and stages of life

• Survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking, reclaiming identity, confidence, and control over their lives

• Youth transitioning out of foster care, stepping into independence without traditional safety nets
